Dave Gravel Takes Pride In Peabody

Raised in Peabody, Dave Gravel is one of six children and a product of the Peabody public school system. He graduated from Salem State College in 1978 with a bachelor’s degree in English and from Babson College in 1984 with a MBA in finance and information systems. Dave is founder and CEO of GraVoc Associates, Inc., a technology consulting firm here in Peabody and is active with the Peabody Chamber of Commerce.

Dave has raised his family in Peabody, built his business in Peabody, and believes that we all need to commit our efforts to making our great city even better. Dave’s broad experience as an educator, school committee member, city councilor and businessman make him uniquely qualified to represent our community and to be a strong representative for all of us.

Dave has been elected to serve the people of Peabody for over 20 years. Dave Gravel has earned a reputation for being a strong voice of reason on every Board or Committee he has served.  Dave listens to the issues, evaluates the problem, weighs the potential solutions and then votes for what he believes is in the best interest of the City as a whole.

Dave has demonstrated his commitment to Peabody through his involvement with organizations and community efforts. Throughout his adult life, Dave has been involved in numerous volunteer efforts within the community to improve the quality of life for all of us. Known as a consummate volunteer and contributor, Dave and his family are constantly called upon to support new efforts that evolve. Giving back to the community is a philosophy that Dave believes and lives by example.

As a business entrepreneur, Dave knows how to get the most from every dollar spent, and he always seeks solutions to problems that others seem to think cannot be solved. A common sense leader, Dave is not afraid to take a stand on any issue when he believes it will lead to a better result for the citizens of Peabody.
